Weekends often begin with arrival on Friday for supper,and orientation, followed by a cultural event. Saturday includes a daylong service assignment, dinner and a panel discussion or presentation. The weekend ends with departure after Sunday morning worship in an urban congregation. However, weekends are very customizable. We are interested in working with you in making a memorable and educational experience.
The $95 cost per participant covers food, lodging, materials and administration. Weekend experiences are particularly geared to congregations near the city (Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Hollywood, Miami and San Antonio.) All logistics are arranged.

Most City Directors are open to your call and working on a date that is good for your group as well as for the city.
To register, fill out our registration form. Groups need to make a $25 per person deposit for their weekend. Weekends are the most popular time for local volunteers but are often difficult for ministries and agencies since so much of their work happens during the week. A deposit ensures that you are working to secure participants from your group and gives us confidence that we can schedule with our partners knowing that a group will not cancel and leave a ministry without dependable volunteers.
