If you are from a different city than the one you hope to serve in, use this application. Your application may say either 2009 or 2010, either form is fine.
If you are local to the city in which you want to serve in,
use this application for locals.
All members are asked to make a commitment of one year at a time. The community starts a fresh each Sept 1. All community members contribute financially, as well as with their own gifts and skills- Essentially time, talent and treasure.
If you are interested in living together, serving with other young adults, growing your faith in the garden of the city, apply for Dwell now. Applications are being accepted now.
Deadlines- Locals should apply as soon as possible but should have started their conversation with the City Director by June but do not have a specific deadline.
Placement Process: We do a rolling placement so while our deadline is in the summer, the earlier you apply the more choices & options you'll have. Once we receive two of your references, we contact you for a preliminary intake discussion. Krista Dutt, our National Program Dir., will make sure all of your questions are answered & begin to get to know you better. She'll explain the different sites & many of the possible placements. She'll then have you interview with particular City Directors directly. After those calls, she'll followup with you to discuss final placement.
For participants wishing to move to the city: Application Deadline is July 1
But don't wait to the last minute. Positions do go to the best match of qualifying candidates. Apply as soon as you can for best consideration.
